Work Song

The other day, when I awoke, I went to work, I did my job then I went home
I fed the dog, I watched TV, I fell asleep
Ain't life sweet?
When I awoke, I went to work, I did my job then I went home
I fed the dog, I watched TV, I fell asleep
Then repeat...
When I awoke, I went to work, I did my job then I went home
I fed the dog, I watched TV, I fell asleep
Ain't life sweet?
When I awoke, I went to work, I did my job then I went home
I fed the dog, I watched TV, I fell asleep
Then repeat...
When I awoke, I went to work, I did my job then I went home
I fed the dog, I watched TV, I fell asleep
This is me...
When I awake, I go to work, I do my job then I go home
I feed the dog, I watch TV, I fall asleep
But then I dreamed...
That I awoke, I went to work, I quit my job then I went home
I fed the dog, I set him free, and then I flew across the sea...
I went to Rome,
I took a walk,
I met a man he looked like me
But couldn't talk,
He had no tongue,
Je wore a sign,
Said "Stop And Think"
Looked in his eyes,
He looked in mine,
He started crying and began to scream
And in his throat,
There was a note.....
It said, "Ain't Life Sweet?"
La la la, la la la la la la la, la la la....
The other day, when I awoke, I went to work, I did my job then I went home
I fed the dog, I watched TV...
Ain't life sweet?

I Just Forgot
03:20
|

It doesn't mean that I don't love you
It doesn't mean that I don't care
Doesn't mean I wasn't thinking of you
Doesn't mean that this is fair
I just forgot that you were there
I just forgot that you were there
You're so quiet all the time
Can barely hear you breathe...
I just forgot that you were there
I just forgot that you were there

You can’t contain this!
That ain’t the way that it works
A freak eruption of convulsions and a series of jerks
You can’t explain this!
It’s just a matter of fact
No mathematic-apparatus can predict my attack
Can’t nobody stop this flow
Where it’s going no one knows
You think you know me
But all you know is my name
And my momentum has system that nobody can tame
A situation that one can never rehearse
The metamorphosis transforms us till the black bubble bursts
Can't stand the flux
Well, that's the crux
This ain't no static this is Turbulent Flow
Go
Can’t nobody stop this flow
Where it’s going no one knows
A generation
of vortex stretching and whirls,
its my spazmodic diatonic that will get you the girls
It's a gyration,
chaotic eddies and flows,
who's complicated variation patterns god only knows
Feel the vibration of the hammer that hit
When Tashtego took the sea-hawk to the bottomless pit
Can’t nobody stop this flow
Where I’m going no one knows (x2)
Can't stand the flux
Well, that's the crux
Come try your lucks
Cuz static sucks
Don’t like the flux
Well that’s the crux
Cuz static sux
This ain’t no static this is Turbulent Flow
Can’t nobody stop this flow

Moby Dick
05:38
|
|||
Come all ye brave any jolly lads that sail the salty seas;
And hear a tale of grief and woe and human vanity.
There was a ship sailed round the world in the 19th Century;
The Pequod of Nantucket in the whaling industry.
The Captain was old Ahab, all crippled at the knee.
As grand ungodly godlike man as ever you will see.
A hermit for a skipper, with a wondrous mystery.
He whaling went with discontent and pride and vanity.
Oh, Moby Dick.
The crew was 36 bold men who spent their lives at sea.
There was Pip and Ishmael and the cannibal QueeQueg.
Stubby, Flask and Starbuck, sturdy mates all three.
They left their wives and risked their lives on the seven oceans free.
Oh, Moby Dick.
Around the whaling cruising grounds the Pequod sailed alone.
As Ahab stood the keenest watch on his leg of whalebone.
There were stowaways and cutthroats and talk of going home.
But Ahab pledged all men aboard to together forever roam.
Oh, Moby Dick.
Says Ahab to the bloody bunch here’s the end of secrecy.
I’m out to kill the great white whale, ‘twas him that crippled me.
Here’s gold for him what sights him, talk not of blasphemy.
Man, I’m the one, I’d strike the sun if it insulted me.
Oh, Moby Dick.
Two years out they cried his spout off the coast of Japanee.
Three times they lowered, three times they failed, till angered finally;
The great white whale, divinely pale, sunk the Pequod in the sea.
All met their graves, but one was saved, and Ishmael told the story.
Oh, Moby Dick.
Now somewhere on the bottom of the eastern China sea,
Stands Ahab on his whalebone leg accursing destiny.
A piece of rope wound round his throat, his voice it still rings free.
But freer still is the great white whale who swims till eternity.
Oh, Moby Dick.
