about
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we're giving this free track to our friends, fans, and family. It's a gleeful anthem to the ups and downs of this thing called Life, which we're having a dang good time living. It's All Good!
While this song bounced around in my head for years before this recording, we actually laid down the initial tracks in less than 24 hours after a friend in "the biz" called us asking if we had a good song for the victorious conclusion of a TV show about battling zombies. "Heck yeah," I said. And then we made this, and making it made us really friggin' happy.
They ended up going "in another direction" for the closing soundtrack, so we decided that this would be the perfect song to share with our friends, fans, and family for the Thanksgiving season.
We're grateful for so dang much, and really, truly, it is all good in Evangenitals-land. Hope you enjoy the song.
lyrics
I fell down and broke my arm...
but it's all good
I started a fire and set off an alarm...
but it's all good
My momma just told me that somebody died...
but it's all good
My poor little brother can’t sleep through the night...
and it’s all good
It’s all good....
My dog got hit by a car today...
but it's all good
Cause Einstein told me nothing really goes away...
so it’s all good
My old man just walked out on me...
but it's all good
Cause there’s just someplace that he’s gotta be, and it’s not with me,
and that’s all good
It’s all good...
Cause I feel just like a doggy riding in a car
With my head out the window and we’re going real far
And I trust in the driver and I’m letting him drive
With my eyes wide open watch the world fly by
And all I feel is the wind in my face
Sun shining down and the universe embrace
And the sun goes up and the sun comes down
And we’re driving all over this great big town called good
It’s all good...

What the hell kind of church service is this?” (LA Weekly) The Avant-Americana 9 piece sound more like they hail from a
